Stitches ‘N Tyme, a vibrant quilt shop known for its rich array of fabrics and crafting supplies, is on the lookout for a creative and detail-oriented Web Design/Graphic Design Intern for Summer 2024. This role is perfect for a high school or college-aged student with a flair for design and a love for crafting, eager to leave a mark on the digital presence of a beloved local business.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to conceptualize and implement a fresh website design on the Shopify platform, ensuring a seamless user experience that reflects the warmth and creativity of our shop.
- Create visually appealing graphics and layouts for web pages, promotional materials, and social media, capturing the essence of Stitches ‘N Tyme.
- Assist in the selection and editing of photos for website and marketing use, highlighting our products and community events.
- Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates and receive feedback on ongoing projects.
- Research and suggest innovative design trends and digital tools to enhance our online presence.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a high school or college program, with a focus on Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and a basic understanding of Shopify or willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and work collaboratively.
